Do your students struggle with conflict resolution?
Many students simply do not have the skills that they need to peacefully resolve conflicts- yet!
Conflict resolution is something that all students need structured practice for so that when challenging situations arise- and the will- your students will have the tools, and will be more likely to use them.
This activity is one way to introduce the concept of conflict, and the many different ways to resolve them.
It can be done in chunks, or over the course of an entire period!
Revisit it as needed- it includes editable cards so that you can customize the conflicts that your students discuss, and work to solve.
Your students will get to participate in group discussions, brainstorms, and share their ideas with the class. They will also sort suggestions into categories of helpful vs. unhelpful.
