Purpose and Directions
-To promote the development of social language skills through building peer
interactions, asking and answering WH-questions, initiating conversations, and
promoting positive nonverbal communication skills.
-Number of players: 2-6 students
-BINGO cards and question cards can be laminated and used with dry erase markers
to increase durability
Directions: Place the question cards in a central location to the students. Pass out a
BINGO card to each of the students. Student one will draw a question card from the pile to ask the question to student two; while demonstrating appropriate nonverbal
communication skills. Student one will record the name of student two in the
corresponding box on their BINGO card. Now it is student two’s turn to select a card
from the pile and ask the question to student three. The first student to fill five answers in a row is the winner. Depending on the student’s skill level, instruct the student to read the names of the student’s in the winning boxes and recall that student’s response to the question. Example: Tara’s favorite color is pink, Nick likes dogs, etc.
