This social story was used for a student of mine who was partially mainstreamed. He was having a hard time remembering the rules about talking out. This story reminds a student to only "Say 3, then look and see" (say 3 sentences, then look at the listener to see if ok to continue), to stop talking when a teacher asks me to stop, to stop talking when the teacher walks away and to stop when a teacher tells me to do something. Uses the concept of being a flexible thinker from social thinking and raise your hand and wait to be called on. Can be customized for your student's grade.
