This activity is meant to accompany the book Hey, Little Ant by Phillip and Hannah Hoose.
These activities are great for students working on social skills, thinking about others, and perspective taking. To get the most out of the lessons, students should be able to write or have their ideas transcribed down.
1. There is a social story outline for the students to explain perspective taking.
2. 2 pages to complete while reading the book. It gives one perspective and the student needs to provide the alternative character’s perspective.
3. Written comprehension sheet that asks student to provide text evidence to support their response.-thinking of you versus thinking of me
4. Two sentence writing pieces that focuses on perspective taking with various opinions.
