Description
The Abominable "No"-Man is an original social language story and activity packet on saying "no". The story centers on two characters, Yeti and his friend Yesi. The packet is low ink, print and go for your preK-early elementary learners. It can also be used with students with cognitive or social language impairments functioning at this developmental level. The activities include:
Original story about Yeti the Abominable “No”-man
(use the story pictures as a prompt for the students to sequence,
re-tell and act it out)
Yeti and Yesi pictures to cut out, laminate and glue to craft sticks for your students to “vote” on who is making a green light or predictable choice in the story. It changes as the story continues!
Social situation cards from the story to decide if Yeti and Yesi’s choices are green light choices (predictable) or red light choices (unpredictable).
