Social Skills Task Cards for Middle and High School
Product Description
This is a pack of 100 task cards that help middle and high school kids practice social skills. The social skills task cards are organized into five different sets that target different skills: Basic Interactions, Conversations, Empathy, Friendships & Relationships, and Conflict Resolution Skills.

These cards are great for students with social challenges. Use these task cards to allow students to discuss a variety of social situations and brainstorm for the best solutions in different scenarios. This includes students with autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and more.

A template is also included so that you (or your students) can make individualized social skills task cards for specific needs. This can be a fun activity all on its own!

Incorporate Role-Playing AND Writing
Some of the task cards say "Act it out!", encouraging students to act out the situations in small groups or with a partner.

A journal entry page is also included, so that you can have your students respond to specific cards, as needed. It would be a great morning meeting activity or way to start counseling groups by giving kids read the card, respond, and then discuss as a group.

How to Use the Task Cards
The task cards can be used in guided small groups, as part of class discussions, or in partner discussion before sharing out with the larger group or class. Regular education teachers, special education teachers, social workers, school psychologists, and guidance counselors could all benefit from using these task cards with their students. These cards are specifically designed for middle and high school aged students.
