CONVERSATION MAP - Conversation Graphic Organizer Activity. Teach your students how to have a conversation with 5 Easy steps- 1) Say Hello, 2) Ask a Question, 3) Make a Comment, 4) Ask a Question 5) Wrap up and Say Goodbye. Use the graphic organizer as a visual aid to help students "SEE" a conversation in black and white! I made this activity for my students who are working on turn-taking and keeping a conversation going. Most of my students need visuals to help understand how to have a conversation. I made this activity for the teletherapy platform, but it may easily be used on an Ipad or printed for table top. Also included are black/ white printables for practice at home or at school.

How to Use: Have the student start by saying “Hello”. The Clinician says “Hello” and reads the conversation starter. If using on a teletherapy platform, use a stamp to move across the arrow to the ask a question box. The student then formulates a question to ask and moves the stamp along the arrow to the clinicians empty box. Continue until the end of the Graphic Organizer. If using on table top or Ipad, use a small toy car, doll, etc.
