Do you know have a student who puts items in his or her mouth?
If so, try this social story. This story addresses a range of situations including picking up trash or items from the ground, germy items, and small items. The story uses a fun, rhyming song format to teach students how to keep dirt out, keep germs away, leave trash alone, walk away (from small items), have a snack (when you want to chew), and learn what’s safe. I even created motions to go with each verse and situation.
In addition to the story, you will receive a visual showing the motions for each verse and two practice sheets.
Color and black and white versions are included.
