This fun, rhyming social story was written for a kindergarten student having trouble understanding how to manage his frustration at school. In a new environment, he started hitting other students. This story focuses on strategies to use instead of hitting in several situations including when a friend won't play, going to the bathroom, waiting for dismissal, when you don't get your way, and going to recess. It also teaches what you should do: have a good attitude, keep your hands to yourself, use self-control, and apologize to those you hurt.
Color and black/white versions are included. I have also included 10 pages of printable activities to reinforce these social skills.
