At least one to two students in my classroom each year are included for various subjects throughout the school day. Typically the expectation is that they will be able to attend independent of an adult. This social story is a great way to remind them of how they should behave in a classroom when you’re not there. These rules are ones that have to be taught because sometimes they are not recognized. Make sure to take the time to read it together with the student before they leave your room. This would also work if your student needs a para to accompany them in the inclusion setting.
This is a editable PowerPoint so you are able to change names and classrooms as needed.
