This social story teaching children the expected routine of eating at a restaurant. In a nine slide PowerPoint presentation, the child will become familiar with the steps of dining out- from arriving at the restaurant and waiting to paying for the meal.
This social story uses simple visuals to help the child comprehend each step. The final slide contains a brief summary of each step, as well as a simple picture to accompany each step. This slide can be printed and used on-the-go as a visual aid.
The words are large, bold, and typed in a sans serif font (said to be easier for children with ASD to read). Also, the pale yellow/dark blue color combination is easier on the eyes than black and white.
