This social story introduces the concept of an assembly, what it is, what it looks and sounds like, their purpose and what to do when in an assembly. The short story works well for Kindergarten or 1st grade students who may not yet be accustomed to behavior in a large group setting, or students new to a school building. It is a great mini-lesson for use in social skills instruction for students with autism as well.
Print in color and laminate for durability. If you have access to a spiral-binding machine, you can spiral bound into a book. Silver rings work too!
