Product Description
This social story is a great read for students who may need some support and help when going on a visit to the farm. This social story will hopefully help learners understand what to expect on their trip to the farm and that they do not have to take part in all activities but can watch instead until they possibly build the confidence to take part.

Many students with autism are visual learners and like to learn through seeing something in action. This book comes complete with matching, simple yet engaging graphics to help describe what is being said on the page.

Comes in col option only - no b/w availability, however you can print in grayscale.

Pages included are;
♦ Soon, we are going to a farm.
♦ At the farm there will be lots of different animals.
♦ We might see cows, sheep, pigs and even chickens.
♦ We can look at the animals. This will be ok.
♦ We might be able to feed the animals. The farmer will help us. This will be ok.
♦ If I don’t want to feed the animals, I can watch someone else feed them. This will be ok.
♦ At the farm, I might be able to touch some of the animals. This will be ok.
♦ If I don’t want to touch the animals, I can watch someone else do it. That will be ok too.
♦ Sometimes on the farm the farmer will let us ride the horse, I can ride it if I want to.
♦ If I don’t want to ride the horse, this will be ok too. I can sit and watch.
♦ We can have lunch at the farm. We might take a picnic with us.
♦ The farm might be cold and muddy, so I can wear my wellingtons and coat.
♦ The farm might be noisy with the animals, I can wear my ear defenders to help me.
♦ The farmer might talk to me and tell me about his farm, this is ok.
♦ We should stay together at the farm, I should not go off on my own.
♦ Sometimes there are crops growing on the farm.
♦ Sometimes there are tractors on the farm.
