Social Story-Interactive Style: "I Can Respect School Property", presents a specific behavioral situation, that students may encounter throughout their day, in a very positive manner. The booklet consists of a title page followed by 5 pages of positive examples, illustrations, and/or reasons to support the target behavior---presented in a short story format. In this particular booklet, supporting the need to respect the property of the school environment is the target behavior that is being discussed. Space is provided on pages in order for teachers to enter specific names of students into the story to help teach the students the target behavior. The story can then be utilized on an individual or small-group basis in order to help that particular student transform the negative behavior into something more positive! Each page of the booklet is presented on a half sheet of paper--booklet-style, so...just copy, cut pages out, and staple.
