***Activity best suited for small group/ 1 on 1***

Do you have a student who gets upset and tattles on others who are talking when he is trying to do quiet work. Has that student even raised his hand to tell you "why can't you make so and so be quiet?". As you think inside your head the class is pretty quiet.

This social story is written for students who are upset because other students are not quiet(silent) during seat work time. Many of my students with autism have a hard time dealing with background noises and people who do not follow the rules.

After discussing the social story there is an chart to fill out with the student so you both can brainstorm strategies to use when your student gets upset.
