Some kids don’t understand that it’s unacceptable to touch other people’s things without their approval. As a result they can get into trouble with adults and get into conflicts with their peers for touching their stuff without their permission. This social story teaches kids that we need to ask for permission to touch other people’s things.
Social Stories are used for teaching kids behavioral expectations. They work great with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Social Emotional Behavioral Difficulties (SEBD).
