This social story is created for students who need to develop the social skill of determining when it is and is not an appropriate time to talk. The story was originally written for students who continuously interrupted adult and/or fellow student conversations or talked out in class. It is great for students who need reminders to keep working or playing and not listen-in to the conversation if they were not a part of it. The story includes several situations along with a replacement behavior for each. It is written using the terms "good" and "bad" for students to clearly understand the lesson.
