Do you have a student who has trouble controlling his anger or becomes easily upset or frustrated? Social stories are a great way to promote appropriate social skills. They teach students how to make positive choices instead of acting out in anger or frustration. Social stories are a great way to teach social skills to students in need of special education (ESE) with autism, behavior disorders (like ADHD or ODD) or other special needs. This story focuses on staying calm when students are upset.
This social story includes a one-page version of the story and a 6-page book (or easy reader). I include both black and white and color versions of each.
☆ This story is part of my social stories bundle found here. ☆
☆ This product is also included in a “staying calm” bundle. You can find that here. ☆
