Anger is one of the most difficult emotions for children to deal with at school. Through experience in the classroom, some children have great difficulty expressing themselves and "using their words" when other children or situations upset them.
Here is a social story that I use with my children to show that everybody gets angry and that it is a natural feeling. It also shows some ways children can deal with their anger, rather than hurting other students. It is a great strategy to use with all children!
I have included one with pictures from BoardMaker and another that is blank, so that children can draw their own pictures. You can even use the structure to write some of your own.
