Here’s an excellent, interactive game to help your students review the important Social Studies vocabulary related to World War II, Cold War, Civil Rights Movement, and US since 1975 (Georgia Performance Standards SS5H6, SS5H7, SS5H8, and SS5H9) for the GMAP test. It’s similar to traditional BINGO; however, you will read definition cards and the students will match them to words on their GMAP-O boards. The students choose which words to write on their boards (from the list provided) before the game begins. This game can be played as a whole class or in small groups. We always have lots of fun, and the students are challenged to remember words that they learned throughout the whole year. Everything that you need is included in this file—just print, cut, and play!
This file is aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards for fifth grade Social Studies. Please see the Preview for the vocabulary words that are included in this set.
