There is a total of 15 activities/projects for students to choose from. Students choose which activities to complete. The bottom of the second chart is left blank for you to add your own activities if you choose.
These options let students choose how they show what they know! It provides the opportunity for differentiated activities.
These choice boards vary in project or assignment size. The "points" section is left blank for you to fill in. In my student teaching I have seen these used as an end of a unit "show what you know" and students had to accumulate a certain amount of points for a certain letter grade. I have also seen this as a way for "early finishers" to continue to "show what they know".
These choice boards are general project ideas that could be applied to almost any social studies unit, but they are also customizable and could easily be used as a more specific unit of study. They could also be customized to fit the degree of difficulty based on grade level.
