You get two different versions with this community helpers interactive activity. It is great to do with students to help cover part of the Social Studies curriculum or to reinforce important services in our communities and the places that they work!
The second version is a great resource for Special Education teachers or to be used with younger children. It has been modified for students who have difficulties with fine motor skills or other exceptionalities.
Version #1 –Black and White
•Cut along the dotted lines only.
•Glue the top flap into a notebook.
•Glue the matching building under the correct community helper.
•Color the pictures!
Version #2 - Colored
•Print out the colored version.
•Cut out the buildings on the last two pages.
•Students match the building with the correct community helper, by placing it in the blank space next to it.
•Print the colored version
•Have student cut out the buildings and glue the matching building into the space provided by the community helper.
