This is a perfect board game to use for a social studies lesson on community signs. Similar to many children's board games, my game requires use of any token available in your classroom. Using a token, students can practice attending skills and turn-taking to play this game. Students move the token and land on a community sign. Students can either verbally indicate the meaning or name of each sign, or match with larger flashcards. The possibilities are endless, depending on the skill level of your students. Either way, this is a perfect method to familiarize your students with important signs in the community.
I have included 2 versions of the game. They can be played in one sitting or on separate occasions.
Includes community signs such as:
School Crossing & More.
