Finally! A daily review for Social Studies. My students retain information best with constant review so it is important for me to continually review students daily over information that has already been learned. Not sure about other teachers , but many times it is out of sight, out of mind for my students. We leave a unit to begin a new unit and students do not see it again until spring when we are reviewing for the state tests. It leaves me scrambling in Spring to review students before the big standardized tests. This is a daily Social Studies review to be used on a bulletin board. It includes daily review questions about Greece and Map Skills, a sheet for students to answer questions on, numbers and questions for the bulletin board, and an answer key. There are packets of questions you can add to this bulletin board all year according to the units you have already learned. Just cut the questions out and put them on the board. We change out questions weekly. This particular packet asks questions about Greece and map skills. It is a lot like the daily review language arts and math teachers use. My students are doing great with it and know as soon as they enter my room to complete 5 questions each day. It only takes 5 minutes of my class time, but it has kept all previously taught topics fresh on their mind as we move on to new information.
