PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a pack of flippables to get your kids thinking. It's a pack of 40 flippables to compliment your social studies interactive notebook. It has 20 flippables suitable for historical events and 20 for historical figures. They do not specify a specific event or figure, so they can be repeated in a year if you wanted to. Basically, they can be used over and over.

If you already use my interactive social studies notebooks, these will be a great addition!!

Each flippable is themed to go along with the task on the flippable. For example, one flippable is a flip flop outline and the title is "A Real Flop!". The task then tells the students to tell why the event was a big 'flop'. Why did the event not go as planned. Look at the sample thumbnail image above and you will see the "Boohoo" flippable that can be used about any sad event that happened in history. My example uses the Holocaust.

There are many ways to use these. You might want to have your class all do the same flippable. For example, if you were studying about the Holocaust, you might include the "Boohoo" flippable as a reflection activity at the end of the lesson.

You could even use these as a writing center activity where students would have several choices of flippables. They could then complete one of their choice on an event or figure that fits the topic on the flippable. Maybe on someone or some event you have already studied this school year.

A few other examples of the flippables included:

**You Really Fumbled the Ball: This one is football themed. Students write about a historical figure that made a fumble. They tell how the person messed up or made a mistake, using historical facts to support their answer.

**Sticky Situation: This one is bubble gum themed. Students write about a person that was involved in a sticky situation. Tell about the situation and what role the person played.

As you can see, these are a fun way for students to sort of go outside the box with the different themes, and then using the themed flippables to reflect on people and events from the past.

PLEASE, I am human and can make mistakes. If you see a typo or error, please send me a message before you rate the product. I will gladly get it corrected and can usually do it fairly quickly. Thank you ahead of time.
