I am so pleased to offer you ALL Georgia social studies standards-based reading passages on a significantly lower Lexile level. The possibilities are endless with this product. Use it for cold reads, study guides, RTI progress monitoring, differentiated tests for the content area, homework, or even as a “mini-textbook”! There is no need for the student to attempt to read text books written well above their frustration level when they can practice reading, and more importantly, be successful with this! There are 28 passages included, all written below 400L.

Going deeper into nonfiction texts is essential to student mastery of common core standards. Want ways to integrate social studies and science content into your nonfiction instruction, while differentiating for the needs of all learners? Look no further than these differentiated reading passages and comprehension questions. In this product, there is an informational reading passage based on every Georgia third grade social studies standard! If your classroom is like mine, there are readers all over the spectrum, yet it is vital that all students understand these important concepts. I've created each passage on three different reading levels to make differentiation much easier that you will find in the bundle here!. I've leveled each passage with its Lexile reading level. Also, please note that while these topics are specific to Georgia's standards, they would be great informational reading practice in general!
