This is an incredible play about a teacher who takes her class to NYC on a walking tour from the Statue of Liberty through the Bronx and even Queens! Each landmark has an original poem that uses real facts about each place - including how many steps are in the Statue of Liberty, and how many home runs Jackie Robinson hit. This play is versatile enough to cater to many grades. It was written for fourth grade and was a rousing success! Depending on the number of students (we performed it with 85), the grouping is flexible and the script is original, funny, and kid-friendly. Add music about NY (we used Alicia Keys and Billy Joel) and you are set! Enjoy!
