Product Description
Enrich your students with these fun, standards based social studies projects that can be completed in class or as a homework assignment. Either way, kids will have fun while learning with these activities, and you will have ease in scoring with the rubrics provided!

Inside this bundle one will find:

➢Immigration Report
Students learn all about their own family history when they interview grandparents or older relatives to learn how the family ended up in America. When completed, kids will have an easy to store keepsake in a folder.

➢Biography Oral Report
Teach kids how to give a speech when they dress up as their famous person in history and tell the class why they became famous. This project was a lot of fun!

➢Biography Written Book Report
After reading a biography on their own, students will have a specific format on how to write a book report.

➢Native American Artifacts Research
Students use the internet to answer research questions about Native American tribal artifacts and then must choose an artifact to make out of clay, beads, feathers, or any other art supplies. The students will write a paragraph on an index card to show which tribe would have made their item. We did this activity in class and produced a great display for the library.

➢Shoe Box Project
Students will use their creative skills to write a diary entry from the point of view of a Native American child. Next, they will have fun creating the child's home out of a shoebox.
