The story A new school year was created to help children on the autism spectrum work on their social skills, but could be useful for all children. This story explains the possible feeling and frustrations when starting a new school year and the acceptable behaviour when dealing with these frustrations such as breathing, counting, talking to someone.
To help students better understand, I've added illustrations. All of the characters have been hand drawn by myself.
