This editable web activity asks sociology students to consider the implications of race in everyday life.
You must have Adobe Flash to complete this activity. Flash works on most devices, but not iPads and iPhones. If you’re using these devices, the Puffin App will support Flash. The free version only supports it temporarily, but the paid version, forever.
If your students are 1:1 iPads, this assignment would be best in a computer lab, the media center, or assigned as homework, unless your school has funds for Puffin or has already purchased it.
If you are using a Chromebook, I give you instructions for enabling Flash.
This is a lengthy activity over an important topic. It’s good to begin it in class, give students a few days to complete it at home, and then have a class discussion over the issues discussed.
