Holding a Socratic Seminar discussion with this activity will encourage students to explore beyond the text and questions.
This activity includes:
-a document for reading about the achievements of Alexander the Great. Students will form conclusions about whether he was a "Strong World Leader" or "An Ambitious World Dominator". Students will also explore what defines "Great" and whether he truly earned the title.
-guided questions for understanding the content, forming comparison, as well as fostering critical thinking skills such as application and evaluation.
