Product Description
This is a two-page document that students can use to organize their thoughts about Henry David Thoreau's chapter from Walden called "Where I Lived and What I Lived For." It helps students organize their thoughts and prepare to discuss them in a lively class Socratic discussion. I have also included a sheet of sentence starters for the discussion that students find helpful, especially if this is their first time doing a Socratic discussion. I have found this to keep the discussion civil and focused. Enjoy!
