PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson goes over how soil is defined, what soil is composed of, and how it is produced. The worksheet follows along with the power point presentation to keep students engaged and works as a review sheet. The web soil survey takes you to the USDA's Web Soil Survey application and allows students to pin point what sort of soil surrounds their school or home. This lesson is designed for late elementary through intermediate grades.

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.5.7- Students should be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly locate answers to questions on the worksheet while the power point is being presented
