In Socratic Seminars, students discuss a topic or question as a class. They express and defend their opinion, often after having analyzed a source (video or text).
Because of how structured these seminars are, they are easy to do with lower level classes to help them build up to AP level argument writing.
- Blank notes and rubric, with explanations of how to run the seminar and use the worksheets
- Samples for: Stadt vs Dorf (lower level), Transportation (lower level), Vegetarians (intermediate level), Animal Rights (upper level)
