Solar Beads Experiment

Solar Beads Experiment
Product Description
Students love solar beads! You can buy them at craft stores or online (I bought mine at stevespanglerscience.com). Students will see the beads change color when they are in UV light. We also tried to put them behind sunglasses and cover them with sunscreen to see if they would still change color. Included in this bundle is a SMART notebook presentation and lab worksheet students fill out when they are outside with the beads. Materials needed: Solar beads, ziploc bags, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sunny day!
