Are you tired of the same solar system projects? Try the space choice board for something new. It gives students nine different choices.
Each choice has its own instructional page. I have used this project for over eight years with a few additional changes. The students love this project that offers so many choices and a lot of creativity.
Some of the project choices are challenging and are geared for gifted students or for students who have already mastered the standards. Some project choices are perfect for ESL students or for students who need additional support.
In my class, most of the work is done outside of the classroom. You will need two class periods to allow time for all of the presentations.
You don’t have time for presentations or all these choices? No problem. You can limit the choice to two or three projects or just assign one of the projects as a class activity. There is a general rubric that can be used for all of the projects.
