This resource is best used after a modeling activity where students recreate the phases of the moon. I am in the process of creating one of my own, but for now, I highly recommend that you take a look at this resource from the California Academy of Sciences.
This resource is designed to assess students understanding of lunar and solar eclipses, but is not designed to teach them about eclipses.
