Description

Want to know how well your students can apply solubility rules? This solubility sorting challenge will put their skills to the test while they work in groups to assign twenty different compounds. If they have those nailed down, let them try the naming bonus round or advanced version next!

This product prompts students to recall solubility vocabulary and how to read a reference table. With clearly defined roles, students will work together to decide whether compounds are soluble or insoluble. It’s easy to check on your end because there are ten of each, but I don’t usually tell them this until everyone struggles a bit first.
