PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Solve Systems of Linear Equations until fluent (or blue in the face) with three Practice Guides. Find 511 possible systems of equations to solve on only 3 sheets of paper! Special case systems are included.

How is this possible (or easy to grade)?

Each practice guide is loaded with equations that students combine to create systems. Various methods of solving systems of equations can be practiced. Immediate feedback is built into the activity since all systems will have the same solution.

Practice Guide 1: Solve Consistent Independent Systems of Equations. With 25 unique equations, students have 300 possible combinations!

Practice Guide 2: Solve Inconsistent Systems of Linear Equations. 16 parallel equations gives students 120 possible inconsistent systems.

Practice Guide 3: Solve Consistent Dependent Systems of Equations. Given 14 coinciding lines (equivalent equations), there are 91 possible consistent dependent systems for students to solve.

They’re doing their homework, but did they do it correctly? They can do the examples with me in class, but can they do it on their own? Students are practicing, but there are more hands up right now than I can possibly get to in 15 minutes. Practice Guides help me solve the student to teacher ratio problem (A ton of them to one of me!).
