This project uses tables to solve for the GCF and LCM of two or three numbers. Using "t-bars" rather than factor trees, students learn to easily pair up matching prime factors to determine the solutions to GCF and LCM. Vocabulary is reviewed for prime factorization, prime numbers, composite numbers, exponents, and base, as well as the vocabulary for GCF and LCM. Several examples are given for prime factorization with exponents and for finding GCF and LCM.
