This is a practice page that consists of 18 quadratics equations. Numbers 1-9 are in the form (x+ )^2 = negative. Numbers 10-18 are in the same form with a constant added or subtracted outside of the parentheses. All equations involve taking the square root of a negative number with the exception of number 14 taking the square root of zero. Six of the equations students will take the square root of a negative perfect square, six others have roots that have perfect square factors to simplify and the remaining have negative roots of none perfect squares that cannot be simplified.
