The Mystery Folder can be used over and over again. No more making tons of copies! I suggest laminating the entire folder to keep it fresh and clean.
Great for center use, substitutes, homework, or for filling in during down time.
On the outside of the folder, you may want to attach a removable sheet that students use to sign off on the assignment, make comments, etc.
Place the directions on the inside left side of the folder. On the right hand side, paste the mystery story.
Evaluation: Students write their answers on a separate sheet of paper for grading. They can turn in the paper or place in their daily folders.
There are five mysteries included here.
Objectives: To determine major and minor details.
To determine the main idea.
To use critical thinking skills.
