Product Description

This 12-slide PowerPoint lesson will help you introduce your students to the concept/skill of solving 1-variable, 1-step equations using multiplication or division.

You could also use it to help your students review this skill.

Although this aligns with 6th grade CCSS, these lessons could be used for 7th or even 8th grade students studying the same concepts.

This lesson format was very successful with my students who had trouble paying attention in class and/or struggled to take (meaningful) notes during lessons.

Slides: Objectives, review (inverse operations, rewriting equations), 2 examples, 2 guided practice, 4 independent practice using multiplication to solve, 4 independent practice using division to solve.

NOT an assessment, unit, homework, or cooperative learning.

Only basic knowledge of PowerPoint is required.

File is in .ppsx (2010 Power Point Show) format, but if you would like a compatibility version, please contact me at madeyemoodyproductions@yahoo.com for details.
