The 2-step equations scavenger hunt allows students to actively solve 2-step equations with negatives. Students can work in small groups, and the teacher assigns them a letter to start at. The students will work through the equation at that letter, and then look for their answer on another sign. When they see their answer, they go to that particular sign and complete the new problem. They should eventually get through all problems and end up where they started. I have included a recording sheet and answer sheet.
