This worksheet supports students as they work to solve multi-step algebraic equations. This form provides lines where students are prompted to re-write the equation after performing each step to solve an algebraic equation. There is room for up to six steps. This worksheet also prompts students to provide a written description of each step performed. Space at the bottom of the page allows students to plug the solution into the original equation to check their answers.
This is a generic worksheets. I recommend printing several copies and having blank worksheets available for use in the classroom while student record in-class notes or complete independent practice problems. This worksheets will help your students show all of their work as they begin to solve more complex algebraic equations.
