This product is a Battleship Gameboard on solving two step and multi step equations. Students place the ship pieces on their bottom board then go back and forth guessing specific spaces by saying the column and row of the space (Example: C4). If a student guesses wrong, it is the next player's turn. If the student guessing correctly, the partner says "hit" and the first player must solve the problem correctly. If they get the problem's correct solution, they mark it as a hit on the board and guess another space. If they get the solution wrong, they cannot count it as a "hit" and must try again next time. The first person to sink all of the other person's battleships wins!
This game requires some assembly. I used manilla folders as the base and taped the papers on the inside of the folder. I also laminated all of the pieces so students can write on the boards with dry erase markers.
