Solving Equations - Find Someone Who
This cooperative learning activity is a great way to get students up and moving about the classroom! I have used "Find Someone Who" activities as a warm up, review for a quiz, reinforcement, and spiral activities.
To complete this activity, students will walk around and find 15 people to trade papers with. Each person will solve one problem and initial their work. The following five versions are included:
- Find Someone Who. . . Equations with Variables on One Side
- Find Someone Who. . . Equations with Variables on Both Sides
- Find Someone Who. . . Equations with Rational Numbers
- Find Someone Who. . . Literal Equations
