This is a cooperative learning activity where students each have a set of problems. Students will walk through their problems that say "Player (A or B)" and their partner "Coach A or B" has the answers and hints, and will make sure the player is doing all of the problems correctly and will guide and help them if they get stuck. The partners switch roles each time. So Player A will be Coach B and Player B will be Coach A. (print the pages double sided so the students only have to flip their pages to switch roles). It is a great activity for students to practice solving one-step, two-step, and multi-step equations, and to discuss math with their classmates!
