PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2-step equations. In this collaborative solving equations activity, students solve equations with x on one side of the equal sign. Some equations also include fractions.

(You can get this pennant for free by subscribing to my blog.)

If you are looking for more of a challenge for your students, here is a set of pennants with x on both sides: Solving Equations Pennant {multi-step}

There are 2 sets of pennants in this download - 20 with QR codes for easy checking and 20 without QR codes. Also included is an optional student answer sheet and an answer key.Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to solve equations!"

Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one. You may also choose to have your students color their pennants to add to your classroom decor.
