This is a one-page quiz with 7 questions covering solving equations. This quiz is more difficult than my "Solving Equations QUIZ #1" and is designed to be used at the end of a Solving Equations unit before the test.

The questions cover a variety of solving equations situations. For example, on question #1, the student is given an equation and a possible answer. They are to check to see if the proposed number is actually the correct solution. Questions 2 and 3 are solving equations questions. One involves a fraction in front of the variable and the other involves distributing a negative. Question 4 is a literal equation with two steps to get to the correct answer.

Question 5, the student is given a rectangle and its perimeter. They are to set up an equation and solve to find the correct value of x. On question 6, the student is given an equation in y = mx + b format and y and asked to solve for x. m is a fraction. Finally, on question 7, the student is given an equation and solving steps after the equation. They are to analyze the given steps and find where the error was made. 2 pages. Key included.

This product can also be purchased as a part of my**Solving Equations Assessment Mini-Bundle** which is a small bundle of 4 Solving Equations Assessments.
